Research
The Theatre Collection’s reading room is located at Blythe House in Kensington Olympia and provides study places for 10 readers, plus 3 video playback desks. Opening hours are from Tuesday to Friday each week, from 10.15 - 16.30. There are photography and photocopying facilities, and power points for users of laptop computers. Anyone can arrange to use the reading room but it is essential to have an appointment. Security staff will not admit visitors to the site without one. You normally need to book an appointment at least two weeks before your visit.

Location
Blythe House is in Kensington Olympia, between High Street Kensington and Hammersmith. The nearest train and underground station is Olympia / Kensington Olympia (5 minutes walk away) and several bus routes pass nearby. Full directions to Blythe House will be provided when you book your appointment.

Only very specific questions can be answered, and it may take time to supply you with an answer, depending on the volume of enquiries we receive. If you cannot visit the reading room in person, and require more complex research help or a quick response, we can supply you with a list of freelance researchers who specialise in the performing arts. We are sorry but we cannot provide personalised responses to requests for help with school or university projects.
